- Born in Saarbrücken, Germany in 1974
- Studied art and math at the University of Paderborn, Masters Degree – 2001; Teaching Certification 2003 in Saarbrücken
- Awarded the Woldemar-Winkler-Award in 2000 from the University of Paderborn for exceptional achievements in the Arts (a resident internship in Spain followed by a group exhibition)
- Co-created various art projects with students since 2002
- Worked as a teacher of art and math at the Illtal-Gymnasium in Illingen, Germany (2003 – 2008)
- Has lived and worked as an artist in the suburbs of New York since the end of 2008
- Won several awards including Canaday & Dorothy Schweitzer Memorial Award for Works on Canvas (2015), Art of Transformation, CCM Visual Arts Gallery, County College of Morris, Randolph, NJ and 1st place in Fine Arts, 2009 Juried Exhibiton at the Watchung Arts Center in Watchung, NJ
